We remodeled our kitchen in 3/09 and installed five brand new GE Monogram appliances.Three arrived with build defects.In the last three months, we have had 14 visits, 2 incorrectly ordered parts, and innumerable phone calls.Now, I have one appliance that doesn't work at all and another that emits a lound buzzing noise. I have a stainless steel refrigerator that has scratches on both sides, but GE will not take responsiblity for fixing them.Because the service team is so overwhelmed, at one point, they confused my phone number with another customer's phone number.When I called that number/customer, I got quite an earful about his problems.It seems that GE Preferred Service is problematic with a number of customers.So, if you are considering buying GE Monogram, be concerned about the quality of the product that you are buying.
