GE WR30X10093 Refrigerator Icemaker Kit Review

I was unable to remove and exchange parts from the old unit per the instructions provided. So I installed the new unit as it came with existing parts.Instruction was easy and the unit works fine.I do not understand why directions were to use old parts on the new unit when it works well as is.
