My ZICS360NXLH/ZICS360NXRH is less than three years old.An internal manufacturing defect caused my unit to slowly drip water over a long period of time, causing damage to the floor beneath the unit and mold build up inside the back panel of the unit. The defect also allowed mold to grow inside the post-filter water line, thereby contaminating the ice cubes it produces. Since the unit is built in to cabinetry the problem became apparent only after the floor began to buckle outside the unit's footprint.GE Monogram would not address the defect at all, has no technical specialists to talk to, and suggested I take the issue up with my insurance company. To make matters worse, I pay for the repair to their product for what is clearly a longstanding manufacturing defect inside the back panel. Their unwillingness to listen or even inspect the item is surprising and shameful, and their eagerness to externalize all responsibility without regard to product quality or customer experience is not indicative of a high end company. Strongly suggest paying a few hundred more for the SubZero.
