DO NOT buy ANY LG refrigerator...... EVER !!!!They are plagued with problems that can NEVER be fixed... even with an extended warrantee. The freezer fans runs continually while the elements behind the back panel freezes solid around the fan. The noise that comes out of the fan running against the ice pack can keep anyone awake all night .

LG has managed to damage their mostly good name by producing a class of refrigerators that are sub par. The absolutely the noisiest appliance I have ever owned, wish someone would have written a review sooner. Look out for Express Cool model GR-282SF and all in its class. Stick to TVs LG.

LSC27910 26.5 cu. ft. Side by Side Refrigerator with 4 Spill-Proof Glass Shelves Including 2 Slide-Out External Ice/Water Dispenser IcePlus and Digital Display Review

My husband and I purchased this LG LSC27910 refrigerator from Sears in October (2009) so it is very new. About 2 months ago we saw it had problems intermittently with the ice and water dispenser where if you depressed the button, it would stick! Now it sticks every time. For the first few months, however, we saw no problems. It seems to be something that happens after a few months of use. I cannot tell you how many times we have flooded our floor with water. Sometimes it would not correct itself even after continuously trying to get it to shut the water or ice off!!! It has been a nightmare. We have been having Sears out to fix the problem, unsuccessfully I might add- they are out today for their 5th visit to fix it.

Sears repair personnel have indicated that there are other cases of this happening. After searching (and reading online reviews) there are many more cases of this happening. It is a flaw in the design by LG and it needs to be fixed or they will soon be having a class action law suit on their hands! This is NOT acceptable for an almost brand new refrigerator!!!
